About the Letter Subscription

What is the Letters from Rhubarb Lane subscription?

Each month, you'll receive a beautifully written letter from Rhubarb Lane, accompanied by an original watercolour print and occasional little gifts. It's a cosy, nostalgic treat delivered straight to your door — or the door of someone you love.

When will my letter arrive?

Your first letter is dispatched within 48 hours of your order being placed. After that, letters are sent out monthly on the 15th via Royal Mail 2nd class post. Please allow 2–5 working days for delivery once dispatched.

Can I choose a start date?

Your first letter goes out within 48 hours of ordering. Subsequent letters follow our monthly schedule, dispatched on the 15th of each month.

What's included in the subscription?

Every letter includes a handwritten-style letter, an original Rhubarb Lane watercolour print, and occasional seasonal extras and little surprises.

Subscriptions & Billing

What subscription options are available?

We offer a rolling monthly subscription as well as prepaid options for 3 and 6 months. You can also try a single letter before committing to a subscription.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes — you can cancel your rolling monthly subscription at any time. Simply log into your account and manage your subscription from there. Prepaid subscriptions run for their full term and are not refundable once dispatched.

Can I pause my subscription?

Please get in touch via our contact page if you need to pause your subscription and we'll do our best to help.

Gifting

Can I buy a subscription as a gift?

Absolutely — our subscriptions make a wonderful gift! Simply enter the recipient's delivery address at checkout. We also offer gift cards if you'd prefer to let someone choose their own subscription.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Our gift cards are available in a range of denominations and are delivered digitally. You can find them in our shop.

Greeting Cards

What size are your greeting cards?

Most of our cards are 150mm x 150mm square. We also offer an A5 option (148mm x 210mm) which is perfect for group signatures or enclosing vouchers.

Are the cards blank inside?

Yes — all our cards are blank inside so you can add your own personal message.

What envelope comes with each card?

Each card comes with a colour-coordinated envelope — details are listed on each individual product page.

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

Letter subscriptions include free UK delivery. For greeting cards, postage is £1.55 2nd class for up to 6 cards — and free on orders over £25.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

Yes! We're pleased to offer delivery to the United States and Canada. International orders are shipped via Royal Mail and delivery times may vary. Please note that customs duties or import taxes may apply on arrival — see below for more details.

Will I be charged customs duties or import taxes?

If you're ordering from outside the UK, your parcel may be subject to customs duties or import taxes on arrival. These charges are set by your country's customs authority and are the responsibility of the recipient. We'd recommend checking your local import thresholds before ordering to avoid any surprises on delivery. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Returns & Problems

What if my order arrives damaged?

We take great care with our packaging, but if something arrives damaged please get in touch within 14 days with a photo and we'll make it right.

Can I return a greeting card?

As our cards are printed to order, we're unable to accept returns unless the item is faulty or damaged. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
